Return Policy

At the Toshiba OpenSolaris laptop online store, our customers' satisfaction is important to us. If you have purchased an eligible product via the online store and are dissatisfied or have received damaged, defective or incorrectly shipped product, you may be able to return it for a refund. In order to return a product purchased through the Toshiba OpenSolaris laptop online store, you must first contact our Customer Service Center at 1-800-811-8022 or via email at SunCustomerService@shopopensolaris.com within 15 days from the date of delivery of your order. In the event you must return the product, you will obtain a refund of the purchase price actually paid or a replacement product, excluding any shipping and handling charges.

Please have your order number available as well as the date of original purchase. For qualified returns, you will be issued a return authorization ("RMA") number along with instructions for returning the product to us. RMA numbers must be clearly noted on the outside of the returned product's container. To qualify for a refund, returned products must be received within 15 days of RMA issuance.

All products must be returned in the original packaging, including any "over packing" that may have been used in the original shipment. Please be sure to return all materials and components from the original packing (i.e., power cords, accessories, software, manuals, etc). Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Unless otherwise noted, you are responsible for and must pre-pay all shipping and handling charges for the return shipment and you assume all risk of loss or damage to the product(s) while in transit. As such, we encourage you to insure the product(s) during the return shipment. If you return any product (i) without a RMA or (ii) beyond the RMA validity period of 15 days, or (iii) without the proper packaging, or (iv) missing any components or materials, delivery of such return may be refused. Please allow up to 8 weeks for credit to your account.

We may offer promotional pricing on products that are dependent on certain terms of purchase. If you return a product for which you received promotional discounts, you will receive a credit for that product?s return that will not exceed the promotional pricing you received at the time of purchase. If as a part of a promotion you received a second product at no cost or at a reduced price when another product was purchased, credit for the return of the first product will be reduced to factor in the savings on the second product if the second product is not returned with the first product. If all products are returned, the full purchase price will be credited.
